If you have had a blood or urine test or swabs, please allow up to 5-7 days before checking for your results.  Some results may take longer to be received.

You can get access to your results through the NHS App and Patient Access.

The surgery DO NOT receive your hospital or specialist results so please do not ask us for these and contact your team directly.

Scans: we may get scan results within 7-10 days.

Hospital scans and xrays: these are taking several weeks to months to receive.

It is not the surgery role to chase the hospital for appointments, follow-ups and tests requested by them.  You need to contact the teams directly.

Springfield Medical Practice offer a Holter monitor service for registered patients and patients from other practices. The service is for 24 hour and 48-hour monitors and must be requested by a GP.

 PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT PROVIDE EVENT RECORDERS

The appointments are on a Tuesday afternoon and a Friday afternoon. We have 4 machines providing 8 appointments per week.

If you have made an appointment for a Holter monitor to be fitted, please read the information leaflet below prior to your appointment. this will show you where the electrodes will be place when the machine is fitted. Please  ensure you have shaved these areas if necessary prior to attending the appointment. 

Please do not  apply any body lotions on the day of the appointment. These may affect the Holter Monitor pads sticking to the skin
